Stu and his beloved Karen moved to Fayetteville in November of 1979 and have happily made their home here raising their four boys Ben, Aaron, Andrew and Thomas with the support of the folks at the Chapel. Stu has been a part of the leadership team for most of those years and currently functions as our leading Pastor/Teacher. His responsibilities include supervising care for our members, Bible teaching and oversight for programs including our home groups and youth clubs.
Pastor Stu Greene’s mission is to lead with grace, wisdom, and a steadfast commitment to biblical truth. His pastoral work focuses on nurturing a Christ-centered community, equipping believers with sound doctrine, and encouraging spiritual growth through worship, fellowship, and service. He seeks to cultivate an environment where faith thrives, lives are transformed, and the Gospel is boldly proclaimed.
Guided by a deep love for God’s Word, Pastor Greene envisions The Chapel as a place of spiritual renewal and discipleship. He is passionate about fostering a church that embraces both biblical teaching and practical faith—where people are not only hearers of the Word but doers. His vision extends beyond the pulpit, inspiring others to live with conviction, serve with compassion, and carry the message of Christ into every aspect of their lives.
Pastor Greene’s goal is to build a strong, unified church that reflects the love and truth of Christ. By prioritizing biblical teaching, mentorship, and outreach, he aims to strengthen families, equip future leaders, and deepen the faith of all who call The Chapel home. His desire is to see every believer grow in faith, walk in obedience, and impact their community for the Kingdom of God.
"Being part of The Chapel has grew my faith and deepened my connection with others. Here, we worship, grow, and serve as one family in Christ."
"Joining this church means stepping into a community built on love, faith, and purpose. We walk together, lifting each other up and sharing God’s grace with the world."
"At The Chapel, I’ve found a place where faith is lived out daily. Through worship, fellowship, and service, I am continually reminded that we are called to be the light."
